Headed up by President, Ann Sarnoff, this team is responsible for growing the BBC brand, driving future business opportunities and developing new revenue streams across the United States and Canada. The business has three core offices in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto, with smaller bases in New Orleans, Chicago.

The New York office is home to the editorial teams for, which take the lead on the Travel and Autos feature sections of the site.  BBC Worldwide's deep and rich programme catalogue is exploited by a number of New York-based sales teams including those dealing with finished programmes and co-productions and digital syndication.  BBC Worldwide also seeks to enhance and extend viewers' enjoyment of these shows my developing a range of consumer products such as DVDs and merchandise, and the teams responsible for making these deals and distributing this content is based out of New York as well.

The LA office, based on Santa Monica Boulevard, houses BBC Worldwide Productions and Adjacent Productions, which are rapidly gaining a reputation for creating highly successful scripted and non-scripted productions.

In Canada, the Toronto office houses a smaller team which successfully exploits our programme catalogue to a diverse range of channels, as well as establishing strong co-production partners such as Temple Street Productions, in which we own a 25% stake. The digital market is gradually expanding in Canada and the digital syndication business is growing with sales to operators such as Netflix and iTunes.
